Aisha is a star
Booked the villa mostly for the archaeology, took the owner's tour on day two, and it was genuinely the best guided tour I've ever done.

A restored two-bedroom traditional stone villa in Dalyan town, a ten-minute walk from the river and the ancient rock tombs. Sleeps four in one king and one twin, both with en-suite and air-conditioning. A 5-metre courtyard plunge pool between the original stone walls, with a mature fig tree providing natural shade. Two terraces: a ground-floor dining courtyard, and a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the Lycian tombs carved into the opposite cliff. Traditional Turkish day-bed on the roof terrace for afternoon shade. Inside: the original stone shell has been preserved with modern open-plan living space built alongside. Exposed beams, handwoven rugs, locally made ceramics. Kitchen is fitted with modern appliances (gas hob, oven, dishwasher, espresso machine) while retaining the hammam-style stone finish. A Turkish-style bathroom with walk-in shower and hammam stone basin. Additional features: WiFi, washing machine, satellite TV, full reference library on Lycian archaeology and Kaunos (ancient city of Dalyan). Riverboat pass for Turtle Beach (provided on request). Parking 2-minute walk away — Dalyan's old town streets are narrow. Not suitable for very small children due to an external stone staircase.
Ten-minute walk to the Dalyan river quay — boats to İztuzu (Turtle) Beach leave every half hour. The Lycian rock tombs are directly opposite the town, best viewed at sunset. Sulphur mud baths are 15 minutes by boat. Dalaman airport is 30 minutes by car.

Old and new combined sensitively. The courtyard pool is a real joy in the heat. Dalyan itself is a slightly unusual place — small town, mud baths, flamingos — and we loved it.

Spent five days here with the family and did turtle beach, the tombs, the mud baths, and a ton of good food.
