Turkey Direct is a UK-based specialist directory for private villa rentals on Turkey's Turquoise Coast and Aegean. We connect travellers directly with villa owners — no middleman, no hidden fees, no commission surprises.

Why we exist

Big platforms bundle thousands of listings with 15–20% commissions baked into the price. Owners lose margin; guests overpay. For a specialist market like private Turkish villas, we think a directory run by people who actually know the region — and who let owners keep their own relationships with guests — produces better outcomes for everyone.

How we verify owners

Every owner on Turkey Direct has their identity and business details verified by Stripe — the same checks used by Uber, Deliveroo and Shopify. When you see a "Verified owner" badge, it means a real person or company stands behind the listing.

We don't verify the property itself — descriptions, availability, condition and quality remain the owner's responsibility. The owner directly receives your deposit through Stripe; Turkey Direct never holds your money.

Who runs Turkey Direct

Turkey Direct is operated by QLG Media Ltd, a UK-registered company. We also run Gîtes.co.uk, a 13-year-old specialist directory for private holiday rentals in France. We know villa rental.
