About the villa

A traditional stone villa within an active olive grove, a four-minute walk through the trees to Bitez beach. Sleeps six in three bedrooms (one king, one queen, one twin), all with en-suite and air-conditioning. Private 8-metre pool set between the olive trees, with a shaded wooden pergola dining area and a stone-built BBQ. Mature garden of fig, pomegranate and lemon trees — all in production; guests welcome to pick. Outdoor kitchen with sink and prep surface. Two sun deck areas for morning and afternoon sun. Interior is traditional Turkish village style — stone walls, wooden ceilings, handwoven kilims, locally made ceramics. Kitchen is modern but fitted within the original structure (gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, stovetop espresso maker). Large farmhouse table seats eight for family dinners. On arrival, guests receive a jar of the family's own olive oil, a loaf of village bread and seasonal fruit from the garden. Other features: WiFi, washing machine, air-conditioning in every bedroom, hairdryers, beach towels. Off-street parking for one car. A genuinely rural setting — expect cicadas, owls, and village bells.

The local area

Four-minute walk through the olive grove to Bitez's sand-and-shingle beach, lined with traditional tavernas (try Karamel). Bodrum town 8 minutes by car; airport 35 minutes. The old olive tracks behind the village are excellent walking — the owners can recommend routes.
